If you’ve found this page, you’re probably like me and enjoy other people’s trip reports and blogs–looking at their photos, reading their adventures, and maybe even finding new places you want to visit.
Although written for family and friends (and for me to reminisce), I hope you find entertainment and maybe some useful information here.
This isn’t a “how to” site, there are a lot of good ones out there; one of my favorites is, How to Plan a Trip: The Ultimate Practical Travel Planning Guide. I don’t get money or other kickbacks from any of the links I include, so completely unbiased on my part.
I’m in the early stages of adding past trips to this site–please come back again and see where else has been added.
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed all kinds of travel, lazy or jam-packed, on my own or with family/friends. Even (eek!) group travel! Some people turn up their noses at group travel, but I’ve found it best for places that are difficult to get around in for reasons such as infrastructure, language, logistics, and so on.
There’s nowhere I’ve “hated.” There’ve been extremely interesting ones with great memories but wouldn’t go again. Others I found ho-hum, nevertheless glad to have visited. And then there are the favorites where I’d return in a heartbeat.
If you want to leave a comment, ask a question, or just say “hi,” I very much look forward to hearing from you: (Comments)
